The Games Played by the Chamberlains

Chamberlain's are very competitive. We like playing games when we have company over. Most of our games involve a little bit of money but you could probably play all night long on a few dollars.

Here's the games we like to play.

The Game of 65
This is our newest game. It can be played with 3 or more people. It's like Gin with a different number of cards and different wild cards each hand.
The Game of 3-13
This game is actually a simpler version of 65. This game can be played with 3 or more people. It's like Gin with a different number of cards and different wild cards each hand.
The Game of 10,000
This dice game is sometimes known as "Oh Shit" or just "Shits". It has 2 or more players taking turns at throwing the dice to accumulate points. When a player reaches 10,000, the other players get one more turn to try to beat his score. The player with the highest score wins, and takes the pot.
The Game of 31
This is a cute game of elimination. It's the most fun with lots of people. If you lose four times your out. You lose by having a lower hand than anybody else. Each hand is dealt three cards. Each player starts with three dimes and his "honor". The last person left in the game gets the pot.
The Game of Crunch
This a 2 to 4 player speed game in the spirit of double-solitaire. Each player uses a distinct deck of cards. For each player there will be a foundation pile for each of the four suits, but anybody may play on any foundation. The overall goal is to put as many of your cards on the foundation piles as you can. This results in an occassional scuffle and sometimes a crunched hand.
The Game of Unpredictable
A Gin-like card game with seven levels of requirements that must be met before you lay down. Each player must eventually meet the requirement before going on to the next level.
