Ellen's Chili

This is a really easy chili. It's mild for Texas chili but I can never seem to make enough for left-overs. The kids just keep eating until it's gone. This recipe came from Theresa's childhood friend Ellen (there are pictures of Ellen in the protected area of my photo album).

Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and drain. Mix remaining ingredients and simmer for a while, stirring occasionally. That's it!

We've also used deer meat and were happy with the results.

For a larger, meatier dish, use 2 lbs of ground beef, 6 cans of beans, and add a can of condensed Cream of Celery soup.
