Ellen's Chili
This is a really easy chili. It's mild for Texas chili
but I can never seem to make enough for left-overs. The
kids just keep eating until it's gone. This recipe came
from Theresa's childhood friend Ellen (there are pictures
of Ellen in the protected area of my photo album).
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1/2 of a medium onion, chopped
- 4 cans of Ranch Style Beans
- 1 can of condensed Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 can of condensed Cream of Mushroom soup
Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and drain.
Mix remaining ingredients and simmer for a while, stirring
occasionally. That's it!
We've also used deer meat and were happy with the results.
For a larger, meatier dish, use 2 lbs of ground beef,
6 cans of beans,
and add a can of condensed Cream of Celery soup.
