This is the best dog we ever had. Patsi was one of the family and behaved like a dream. Unfortunately, we didn't have a fence at the time and she suffered a tragic incident with a rope that was keeping me out of trouble with my neighbors.

We got boomer to entertain bear. Boomer was very playful. He's playing with a sock in this picture.

Bear, and a really huge tongue.

Bear really wanted to be amongst us humans but he was just too big. He'd sit up on this picnic table and look into the window and watch us.

Bear was eating me out of house and home, literally. He was chewing on the side of the house. He loved to play so we thought maybe getting another dog would help. This is Boomer playing with Bear. Bear was suprisingly tolerant of Boomer constantly bugging him.

Bear became too much dog for us and we let him go to Theresa's dad's place out in the country. We tried another dog, a Sharpe named Lily, but she was rescued from an abusive home and was extremely shy. All of our dogs were outside dogs and didn't get enough attention. I think they became unhappy because it was impossible to keep them in the yard. Eventually they ran away and never came back.
